First Public prototype release


Mega Man 7, but in Godot.

Hello there!
A small side project been working on the last few months and finally reached the state to publish it to be played! It is still in very early in the development and a lot of will change coding wise, but I'm glad was able to finally reach a public test stage.

As mentioned in the project's description, This project will NOT be a 100% complete re-creation of Mega Man 7 in Godot. This will be mostly a practice project to get more experience with game development and practice for another project planning to create in the future.


What to expect from this project?

While this is not going to be a full re-creation of Mega Man 7 created in Godot, I'm planning on adding more content from the game and try to re-create as many aspects from the original game to it as I can, and maybe even add some own stuff if I'm feeling inspired :3


Things, which WILL be added to the project at some point:
- Rush (Coil and Jet at least)
- More stages (Burst Man, Freeze Man and one more, but haven't yet decided which one)
- All of the Special Weapons (So far "Mega Buster" and "Wild Coil" are almost feature complete, next step would be adding the charged variants of these weapons and the remaining special weapons)
- More enemies (Not all of the enemies will be created, but the stage specific enemies WILL be)
- Boss fights (what mega man game would it be one without boss fights?)
- Wily Stage (at least one)


Since this is a solo project and a side hobby, progress will be slow as studies takes most of my time atm, but I'll aim to make an update devlog update at least once a month just to keep the project going and keep informing how things are going.
